## Overview

---

Stolfus & Associates is a transportation engineering firm whose technical expertise and collaborative culture are central to its reputation. Their website needed to catch up.

Our relationship with Stolfus has spanned more than a decade, giving us a deep understanding of the firm, its people, and how it’s evolved. For this website, Artifact began with discovery and positioning work to better understand how the firm wins projects and what distinguishes its team. We also looked closely at what matters to the people Stolfus hopes to hire. That strategy shaped the messaging and copywriting for a fully custom website designed to make complex engineering expertise easier to understand.

Visual impact mattered just as much. We expanded Stolfus’ existing identity into a more distinctive digital design language, then paired it with custom corporate lifestyle photography and updated team headshots. The new imagery brought the people behind the work forward while giving the site a more confident and contemporary presence.

The result is a transportation engineering firm website that better supports both business development and recruitment. And looks pretty darn impressive (if we do say so ourselves). By pairing clearer positioning with stronger storytelling and a more refined visual experience, the site gives prospective clients and future employees a better sense of the firm before the first conversation ever happens. The project was later nominated for a Best of Clutch award.
